Pancake Langue De Chat Cookie
Product Description
Will you give this sweet heart to your sweetheart, or keep it for yourself? This Pancake Langue de Chat tastes like breakfast in America, inspired by the American classic turned Japanese favorite. Pancakes in Japan are called hotcakes (ホットケーキ) and are fluffier and thicker than their American cousins. Bon Bon Seika has transformed this breakfast treat into a delicate sandwich cookie with a maple and white chocolate filling that really tastes like a pancake!
Langue de chat literally means "Cat's Tongue" in French and gets its namesake from its original shape that resembles the tongue of a cat. In Japan, however, it is commonly baked into a square butter cookie with a white chocolate filling.
