Saki Waffle Shikoku no Wasanbon Sugar
Product Description
This dense and cake-like waffle is flavored with sugar, but not just any sugar! Wasanbon is a traditional Japanese sugar from the Shikoku region of Japan. It’s usually used in wagashi, traditional Japanese sweets. It is golden in color and has a more complex flavor than white sugar. This maker took care not to mix in the sugar too evenly, so as you eat there are pockets where the sugar crystals are more concentrated to allow their flavor to shine through. While it's great on its own, we also recommend gently toasting it for a little extra something.
